Testimonials

I'm not great at receiving compliments. My brain usually goes, "They're just being polite. They don't really mean it. You should probably deflect and change the subject immediately."

But I'm trying to get better at it. And honestly? When people tell me that something I made helped them through a wobbly day—that matters. It keeps me going when my own brain is being a bit of a bastard.

So this page exists. Not to brag. To remind myself—and maybe you—that small, honest, slightly sweary things can make a difference.

If something here has helped you, and you want to add your voice to this page, email me at jacle.shop@yahoo.com. I'd love to hear from you.

"The Panic Attack Survival Guide got me through a very long, very scary night in A&E. I had it saved on my phone, and reading Jennie's words—'you're not dying, you're just having a panic attack'—was the only thing that cut through the terror. Thank you."

"I'm 56, recently diagnosed with ADHD, and I found Jennie's channel while googling 'why can't I just do the thing.' Her video on executive dysfunction made me laugh for the first time in weeks. Then I sent it to my husband with the message 'THIS. THIS IS WHAT IT'S LIKE.' He gets it now. Thank you."

"The 'I'm Fine. (Narrator: She was not, in fact, fine.)' hoodie is my emotional support garment. I wear it on days when I can't face the world, and it's like a quiet signal to myself that I don't have to perform. Also it's really soft."

"I've been following Anxiously Ever After since the early days. What I love most is that Jennie never pretends to have it all figured out. She's in it with us. The 4am panic posts, the HMO diaries, the cold tea—it's real. And real is what I need."

"I've never felt so seen. The way Jennie talks about executive dysfunction—the tea graveyard, the laundry standoff, the Corn Laws rabbit hole—it's like she's in my brain. I cried with relief the first time I watched one of her videos. Not sad crying. Recognition crying."

"I bought the Overthinking Toolkit on a whim, fully expecting it to be another thing I'd download and never use. I've actually used it. Multiple times. The 'Worry Time' method has genuinely changed how I handle 3am spirals. It's not magic, but it's the closest thing I've found."
