Hello. You're here. Which probably means you have a question. Or several questions. Or you're just checking that this is a legitimate operation and not someone in their dressing gown running a website from the sofa. (It's both. It's absolutely both.)
Below are the answers to the things people ask most often. Everything in the shop is made to order through our partners—print-on-demand partners who handle the printing, packing, and shipping. That means your hoodie, mug, or hooded blanket doesn't exist until you order it. Sustainable. No waste. But it does take a little longer than Amazon Prime.

📦 Shipping & Delivery
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on our partners rates and your delivery address . The price you see is what our partners charges to get the thing to your door—I don't add anything on top. You'll see the exact amount before you commit to payment. No surprises.
Rough guide (because anxious brains like specifics):
- UK: Usually £3.50–£7.00 depending on the item
- Europe: Usually £5.00–£10.00
- USA/Canada: Usually £6.00–£12.00
- Rest of World: Calculated at checkout
How long will my order take?
Everything is made to order. Production typically takes 2–7 business days for apparel, home decor, and accessories . After that, it's handed over to the shipping carrier.
Typical delivery times after production:
- UK: 2–4 business days
- Europe: 4–7 business days
- USA/Canada: 5–10 business days
- Rest of World: 7–14 business days
You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order ships. You can watch its little journey if that brings you comfort. (I do this. No judgement.)
Why did my blanket arrive separately from my hoodie?
That's totally normal. Our partners works with a network of specialist print providers to ensure the best quality for each product. Your super-soft hooded blanket and your cosy hoodie are crafted by different experts, so they take separate journeys to your door. You'll get a tracking number for each package.
Can I upgrade to faster shipping?
Possibly. Some of our partners print providers offer Priority Shipping for an additional charge. If this option is available for the items in your order, you'll see it at checkout. Please note: upgrading shipping speeds up delivery time, but standard production time (2–7 business days) will still apply.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. our partners have fulfilment centres in the UK, Europe, North America, and beyond. Your order will be routed to the facility closest to you, which keeps shipping times reasonable and reduces the carbon footprint.
Will I have to pay customs fees?
- UK orders: No.
- EU orders: Since Brexit (sorry), orders over a certain value may incur customs fees or VAT. This depends on your country's specific rules. I don't control this and can't predict it. If you're worried, check your local customs threshold before ordering.
- USA/Canada: Generally no customs fees for orders under $800 USD.
- Rest of World: Depends on your country. You're responsible for any import duties or taxes.
My tracking says "delivered" but I can't find it. Help?
This is frustrating. I know. Before you spiral, try these:
- Check with neighbours. Sometimes parcels get left next door without a note.
- Check around your property. Behind bins. In porches. Under bushes. Delivery drivers get creative.
- Check with anyone else in your household. Partners/flatmates/teenagers pick things up and forget.
- Wait 24 hours. Occasionally tracking updates before the parcel actually arrives.
If it's genuinely missing after all that, email me at hello@anxiouslyeverafter.com with your order number. I'll investigate. If it's lost, I'll replace it or refund it.
What if my order hasn't arrived within the estimated time?
Production or shipping can occasionally run a few days longer—especially during peak times like the holidays. If your order hasn't arrived within 21 days of the estimated delivery date (UK) or 30 days (international), email me. I'll look into it.
🔄 Returns & Refunds
Can I return something if it doesn't fit or I change my mind?
No. I'm sorry. I know that's not the answer anyone wants.
Because everything is made to order just for you, returns and exchanges aren't supported for change of mind, wrong size, or wrong colour . There's no warehouse. No pile of returns waiting to be resold. This is better for the planet, but it does mean I can't accept returns.
Please, please check the size guide before you order. It's on every product page. If you're between sizes, size up. Hoodies are forgiving. T-shirts are relaxed fit. Blankets are generous. You'll be fine.
What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?
That's different. That's on us (or the printer). And I'll absolutely put it right.

Include:
- Your order number
- A couple of clear photos of the damage or fault
- A brief description of what's wrong
Our partners offer a free reprint or full refund for damaged products or manufacturing errors . You don't need to return the damaged item—just send me the photos and I'll sort the rest.
Can I exchange for a different size or colour?
Not directly, because each item is printed to order. If you want a different size or colour, you'll need to place a new order.
If your item arrives faulty, I'll replace it with the same size and colour unless you specifically request otherwise.
Can I cancel or change my order?
You can cancel or make changes within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, it's already in production and I can't stop it. (The print-on-demand system is efficient. Too efficient, sometimes.)

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?
Email me immediately. If the order hasn't gone into production yet (usually within 24 hours), I can cancel it and you can place a new order with the correct address. If it's already in production, I can't change the address, and our partners don't offer refunds for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. So please—double-check before you hit "pay."
What about the hooded blanket? Same policy?
Yes. All products in the shop—including the hooded blanket—are made to order through our partners and follow the same refund and returns policy. Damaged or faulty items are covered; change of mind is not.
📄 Digital Downloads
How do I get my digital download?
Immediately after purchase, you'll receive an email with a download link. (Check your spam folder if you don't see it within a few minutes.)
The link is valid for 30 days and can be used up to 5 times. If you need more time or more downloads, email me. I'm not going to lock you out of something you paid for.
What format are the downloads?
All guides and worksheets arePDFs. You can print them, use them digitally on a tablet or phone, or save them to your computer. They're designed to be simple and printable—no fancy formatting that uses up all your ink.
Can I share my download with a friend?
I'd rather you didn't. These resources took time, energy, and a fair bit of emotional labour to create. They're priced low (£3 or free) so they're accessible, not so they can be distributed freely.
If you know someone who'd benefit, please send them to the website to get their own copy. That helps keep Anxiously Ever After sustainable.
I lost my download link. Help?

The free downloads are... actually free?
Yes. Genuinely free. No "enter your credit card and cancel before the trial ends" nonsense. You'll go through a checkout process (so the system can email you the file), but you won't pay anything
👕 Sizing & Product Info
How do your sizes run?
All apparel is relaxed, unisex fit. Not boxy, but not clingy. True to size for a comfortable, slightly slouchy look.
Hoodies: Roomy. If you want an oversized look, size up. If you want it to fit like a normal hoodie, order your usual size.
T-shirts: Relaxed through the chest and shoulders. Not fitted. If you're between sizes, size up.
Hooded Blanket: One size. Oversized. Designed to fully cocoon one adult. It's meant to be big.
Size guide is on every product page. Please check it. I can't offer returns for wrong sizes.
What's the material like?
Hoodies & T-shirts: Soft, breathable cotton or cotton-blend fabric. Feels like a hug.
Mugs: 11oz ceramic. Dishwasher and microwave safe.
Travel Mugs: 25oz or 40oz stainless steel with handle. Hand-wash recommended to protect the print.
Hooded Blanket: Plush fleece. Soft. Warm. Big enough to disappear inside.
Candles: 100% natural soy wax with clean-burning cotton wick. Phthalate-free fragrance oils .
How do I care for my merch?
Apparel: Wash inside out at 30°C. Tumble dry low, or hang dry. Don't iron directly on the print.
Mugs: Dishwasher and microwave safe. Very low maintenance.
Travel Mugs & Water Bottles: Hand-wash recommended to protect the design.
Hooded Blanket: Machine wash cold. Tumble dry low. Don't bleach.
Candles: Trim wick to ¼ inch before each use. Burn for 2-3 hours at a time. Never leave unattended.
Will the print fade or crack?
The prints are high-quality and durable. They'll last for years if you follow the care instructions. (Inside out. Low heat. No ironing the design.) They're not indestructible—no print is—but they're made to be worn and loved, not to disintegrate after three washes.
💳 Orders & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept PayPal (which includes all major credit and debit cards—no PayPal account required). Secure. Simple. No fuss.
Is my payment secure?
Everything is processed securely through PayPal's encrypted gateway. I never see your full card details—just your name, shipping address, and order information.
When am I charged for my order?
Payment is taken at checkout. Printify then charges me when the order goes into production—usually within 24 hours.
I have a discount code. Where do I enter it?
At checkout. There's a box labelled "Discount code." Pop it in there and click "Apply." The total will update before you pay.
The discount code isn't working. Help?
Check:
- Is it expired?
- Is it for a specific product or collection?
- Did you type it exactly as written? (Case sensitive, no extra spaces.)
If it still doesn't work, email me. I'll sort it.
🕯️ Candles
What kind of wax do you use?
All candles are made from 100% natural soy wax — cleaner burning and better for the planet than paraffin. They also last longer. Win-win.
Are the fragrances safe?
Yes. our partners fragrance oils are phthalate-free and made with high-quality ingredients.
How long does a candle last?
Burn time is approximately 45-50 hours for the 7.5oz size. To get the most out of your candle, burn it for 2-3 hours at a time (enough for the wax to melt to the edges) and trim the wick before each use.
What if my candle arrives damaged?
Email me with a photo. Same policy as everything else—free reprint or refund within 30 days.
Can I return a candle if I don't like the scent?
No. Like everything else in the shop, candles are made to order and can't be returned for change of mind. Please read the scent descriptions carefully before ordering. (And if you're really unsure, the unscented one—"No Sensory Overload Here"—is always a safe bet.)
How do I care for my candle?
- First burn: Let the wax melt all the way to the edges (2–3 hours). This prevents tunnelling.
- Trim the wick: To ¼ inch before every burn. Prevents smoking and sooting.
- Burn time: 2–4 hours max per session. Let it cool completely between burns.
- Safety: Always place on a heat-resistant surface. Never leave unattended.
- Stop when: About ½ inch of wax remains. Then clean out the jar and reuse it.
Soy wax can sometimes develop slight bumps or "frosting." This is totally normal and doesn't affect the scent or burn. It's just natural wax doing natural wax things.

Who are you?
I'm Jennie. 52. Lifelong anxiety. Diagnosed GAD. Currently on the waiting list for ADHD and autism assessments. I started Anxiously Ever After because I was tired of pretending I was fine when I wasn't, and I wanted to create the kind of resources I wished someone had handed me during a panic attack.
I'm not a therapist. I'm not a doctor. I'm just someone who's been through it (and is still going through it) and wants to share what's helped.
Is this a replacement for therapy or medical advice?
No. Absolutely not. The resources on this site—blog posts, guides, worksheets, recipes—are for support and education only. They're not a substitute for professional medical advice, therapy, or crisis support. If you're really struggling, please reach out to your GP, a therapist, or one of the helplines listed on the Resources page.
Do you offer one-to-one support or coaching?
No. I'm not qualified, and I don't have the capacity. (My own nervous system is a full-time job.) But I do read every email and reply when I can. Community is the whole point of this thing.
