😶 Can't Eat at All
Share
When anxiety, depression, or sensory overload has killed your appetite completely. The key is liquid calories that you can sip without thinking, or the blandest, smallest, most inoffensive foods you can manage.
- A smoothie or milkshake – Milk, a banana, and a spoonful of peanut butter, blitzed. Drink it through a straw. It's easier than eating.
- Warm milk with a spoonful of honey – It's something. It's calories. It's gentle.
- A mug of soup – Tomato, chicken, or miso. Sip it slowly. No chewing required.
- A slice of plain buttered toast – The ultimate safe food. White bread is fine. This is not the time to worry about whole grains.
- A banana – It comes in its own wrapper. It's soft. It's sweet. It's enough.
- Ice cream or frozen yoghurt – Genuinely. It's cold, soothing, and calorie-dense. If it's the only thing you can face, eat it. Fed is best.
