Tinned Peach & Oat Crumble (No-Bake)
Share
A dessert (or breakfast, I won't judge) made from tinned peaches and a simple oaty crumble topping that sets in the fridge. No oven required. The peaches are sweet enough that you don't need added sugar.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 1 x 400g tin of peach halves in juice, drained and sliced
- 50g rolled oats
- 2 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Method:
- Arrange the peach slices in a small dish.
- Mix the oats, almond butter, honey, and cinnamon until it forms a crumbly mixture.
- Sprinkle over the peaches. Eat immediately, or refrigerate for an hour to firm up.
Why it's gut-friendly: Peaches are a low-FODMAP fruit, gentle on sensitive stomachs. Oats provide beta-glucan, a prebiotic fibre. Almond butter adds healthy fats and vitamin E. Cinnamon stabilises blood sugar.
