Strawberry & Rose Overnight Oats
Share
A delicate, fragrant, and slightly romantic breakfast. A tiny drop of rosewater goes a long way—don’t overdo it unless you want to eat a potpourri. The strawberries soften overnight, releasing their sweet juices.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 50g rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 150ml milk of choice
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- A drop of rosewater
- 80g strawberries, hulled and sliced
- A sprinkle of crushed pistachios
Method:
- Mix the oats, chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, and rosewater. Fold in the strawberries.
- Refrigerate overnight. Top with pistachios in the morning.
Why it’s gut-friendly: Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and fibre. Rosewater has been used traditionally for digestive comfort. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
