Strawberry & Rose Overnight Oats

Strawberry & Rose Overnight Oats

A delicate, fragrant, and slightly romantic breakfast. A tiny drop of rosewater goes a long way—don’t overdo it unless you want to eat a potpourri. The strawberries soften overnight, releasing their sweet juices.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 150ml milk of choice
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • A drop of rosewater
  • 80g strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • A sprinkle of crushed pistachios

Method:

  1. Mix the oats, chia seeds, milk, maple syrup, and rosewater. Fold in the strawberries.
  2. Refrigerate overnight. Top with pistachios in the morning.

Why it’s gut-friendly: Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and fibre. Rosewater has been used traditionally for digestive comfort. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
