Pear & Vanilla Overnight Oats

A delicate, clean flavour. Ripe pear, grated into the oats so it almost melts, with vanilla and a whisper of cinnamon. It’s not overly sweet—just pure, simple comfort. Top with a few walnuts for crunch.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 ripe pear, grated (no need to peel)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 150ml milk of choice
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts

Method:

  1. Mix everything except the walnuts. Stir well.
  2. Refrigerate overnight. Top with walnuts before eating.

Why it’s gut-friendly: Pears are rich in soluble fibre and very gentle on the stomach. Vanilla is calming. Walnuts provide omega-3s. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
