Orange & Cardamom Overnight Oats

This is the one I make when I want something that feels like sunshine. Fresh orange zest and juice, warming cardamom, and a swirl of yoghurt. It’s bright, aromatic, and incredibly uplifting.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 50g rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Zest and juice of 1 small orange
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • 100ml milk of choice
  • 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

Method:

  1. Mix the oats, chia seeds, orange zest, orange juice, cardamom, and milk. Stir in half the yoghurt.
  2. Refrigerate overnight. Swirl the remaining yoghurt on top, and drizzle with honey if you like.

Why it’s gut-friendly: Oranges are rich in vitamin C and pectin. Cardamom is a digestive aid. Yoghurt provides probiotics. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
