Orange & Cardamom Overnight Oats

This is the one I make when I want something that feels like sunshine. Fresh orange zest and juice, warming cardamom, and a swirl of yoghurt. It’s bright, aromatic, and incredibly uplifting.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 50g rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Zest and juice of 1 small orange
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- 100ml milk of choice
- 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Method:
- Mix the oats, chia seeds, orange zest, orange juice, cardamom, and milk. Stir in half the yoghurt.
- Refrigerate overnight. Swirl the remaining yoghurt on top, and drizzle with honey if you like.
Why it’s gut-friendly: Oranges are rich in vitamin C and pectin. Cardamom is a digestive aid. Yoghurt provides probiotics. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
