Mango Lassi Overnight Oats

Inspired by the classic Indian drink, this uses kefir or yoghurt, ripe mango, and a pinch of cardamom. It’s thick, creamy, and tastes like a tropical smoothie.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 50g rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 100ml plain kefir or Greek yoghurt
- 50ml milk
- 100g ripe mango, diced (fresh or frozen)
- ¼ tsp ground cardamom
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Method:
- Mix everything together. If using frozen mango, it will defrost overnight.
- Refrigerate overnight. Stir before eating.
Why it’s gut-friendly: Kefir or yoghurt provides probiotics. Mango is rich in vitamin C and fibre. Cardamom aids digestion. Oats and chia are prebiotic.
