Soft-Boiled Egg with Toast Sticks (Pre-Cut)

A soft-boiled egg and toast strips cut into narrow sticks. Perfect for dipping. If you're eating in bed, put the egg in a small cup or egg cup to keep it stable. The toast strips can be pre-cut and brought to your bedside. It's warm, comforting, and feels like a proper meal.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 1 egg
  • 1 slice of bread, toasted and cut into narrow strips
  • A pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Soft-boil the egg for 6 minutes. Place in a cup or egg cup.
  2. Cut the toast into sticks.
  3. Dip the toast sticks into the runny yolk. Eat.
