Frozen Grapes
Share
This is the simplest snack in the world. A bowl of frozen grapes. They become like tiny sorbet balls—cold, sweet, and refreshing. They're one-handed, no mess, and they take five seconds to prepare (just wash, dry, and freeze them in a bag). Keep a stash in the freezer at all times.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- A large handful of red or green grapes, washed and thoroughly dried
- A freezer bag
Method:
- Remove the grapes from their stems. Dry them completely.
- Place in a single layer in a freezer bag. Freeze for at least 4 hours.
- Eat straight from the freezer. They don't freeze solid—they stay slightly soft inside.
Why it's gut-friendly: Grapes contain resveratrol, a polyphenol with anti-inflammatory properties. They're hydrating and provide a small amount of fibre.
