Warm Spiced Olives

A bowl of warm olives tossed with orange zest, a little chilli, and a drizzle of olive oil. It feels like a tapas bar, but you're in your pyjamas.

Ingredients (Serves 1–2):

  • 100g mixed olives
  • Zest of ¼ orange
  • A pinch of chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Method: Warm everything gently in a small pan for 2–3 minutes. Serve in a bowl.

Why it's gut-friendly: Olives are a fermented food, providing probiotics. Olive oil and orange zest are anti-inflammatory.
