Spiced Popcorn with Nutritional Yeast

Nutritional yeast tastes like cheese. I don't know how. It just does. Tossed with warm popcorn, a little olive oil, and a pinch of smoked paprika, it becomes a savoury, slightly cheesy snack that's actually good for you.
Ingredients (Serves 1–2):
- 50g popping corn
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Pinch of salt
Method:
- Heat the oil in a large pan with a lid. Add a few kernels and wait for them to pop.
- Once they pop, add the rest of the corn. Cover and shake until popping slows.
- Toss immediately with nutritional yeast, paprika, and salt.
Why it's gut-friendly: Popcorn is a whole grain, rich in fibre. Nutritional yeast is a source of B vitamins and can support gut health. A savoury, homemade snack.
