Smoked Salmon & Cucumber Rolls

This is the snack for when you want something that feels fancy but takes approximately forty seconds. A slice of smoked salmon wrapped around a cucumber baton, with a smear of cream cheese and a sprinkle of dill. It's cool, savoury, and packed with omega-3s.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 4 slices of smoked salmon
  • 4 cucumber batons
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • A few fronds of fresh dill
  • Black pepper

Method:

  1. Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each slice of smoked salmon.
  2. Place a cucumber baton and a frond of dill at one end. Roll up tightly.
  3. Grind over some black pepper. Eat immediately.

Why it's gut-friendly: Smoked salmon is rich in omega-3s. Cucumber is hydrating. Dill is a digestive aid. A light, anti-inflammatory snack.
