Sea Salt & Rosemary Popcorn

Sea Salt & Rosemary Popcorn

Popcorn is a whole grain. It's cheap. It's quick. And when you make it yourself, it's not drenched in whatever mysterious butter-substance they use at the cinema. Tossed with rosemary and sea salt, it's a savoury, satisfying snack.

Ingredients (Serves 1–2):

  • 50g popping corn
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary, crumbled
  • ½ tsp flaky sea salt

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan with a lid over medium heat. Add a few kernels and wait for them to pop.
  2. Once they pop, add the rest of the corn. Cover and shake occasionally until the popping slows.
  3. Remove from heat. Toss with rosemary and salt.
  4. Eat immediately.

Why it's gut-friendly: Popcorn is a whole grain, rich in fibre. Rosemary is anti-inflammatory. A light, homemade snack without additives.
