Sea Salt & Rosemary Popcorn
Share
Popcorn is a whole grain. It's cheap. It's quick. And when you make it yourself, it's not drenched in whatever mysterious butter-substance they use at the cinema. Tossed with rosemary and sea salt, it's a savoury, satisfying snack.
Ingredients (Serves 1–2):
- 50g popping corn
- 1 tbsp coconut oil or olive oil
- 1 tsp dried rosemary, crumbled
- ½ tsp flaky sea salt
Method:
- Heat the oil in a large pan with a lid over medium heat. Add a few kernels and wait for them to pop.
- Once they pop, add the rest of the corn. Cover and shake occasionally until the popping slows.
- Remove from heat. Toss with rosemary and salt.
- Eat immediately.
Why it's gut-friendly: Popcorn is a whole grain, rich in fibre. Rosemary is anti-inflammatory. A light, homemade snack without additives.
