Greek Yoghurt with Stewed Plums & Toasted Seeds

Greek Yoghurt with Stewed Plums & Toasted Seeds

This is what I make when I have stewed plums in the fridge (see dessert recipe #10) and need something substantial between meals. It's creamy, tart, and satisfying. It feels like a proper pudding but works as a snack.

Why it's gut-friendly: Greek yoghurt is packed with probiotics that support gut health. Plums are rich in fibre and gentle on digestion. Seeds add extra fibre and healthy fats.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 150g Greek yoghurt (or coconut yoghurt)
  • 2-3 stewed plums with their syrup (from dessert recipe #10)
  • 1 tsp mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)

Method:

  1. Spoon the yoghurt into a bowl.
  2. Top with the stewed plums and a drizzle of their syrup.
  3. Scatter with mixed seeds.
  4. Eat immediately.
