Greek Yoghurt with Honey & Toasted Seeds
Share
This is what I make when I need something substantial between meals. It's creamy, slightly sweet, and the toasted seeds add crunch. It feels like a proper snack, not a sad compromise.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 150g Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp mixed seeds (pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
- Pinch of salt
Method:
- If you're feeling fancy, toast the seeds in a dry pan for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Spoon the yoghurt into a bowl.
- Drizzle with honey. Scatter with seeds and a tiny pinch of salt.
- Eat immediately.
Why it's gut-friendly: Greek yoghurt is packed with probiotics. Seeds add fibre and healthy fats. Honey is antimicrobial and adds natural sweetness.
