Warm Vanilla & Nutmeg Milk

This is the drink for cold nights when you want something warm, creamy, and gently spiced. Any milk you like, warmed with vanilla and a grating of fresh nutmeg. It's simple, elegant, and deeply comforting.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 250ml milk of choice
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- A grating of fresh nutmeg
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Method:
- Warm the milk gently in a saucepan with the vanilla and nutmeg until steaming.
- Whisk vigorously to create a little foam.
- Pour into a mug. Add maple syrup if you like it sweet.
- Sip slowly.
