Minty Green Tea & Pineapple Cooler

This is the drink for hot days when you want something refreshing and a little bit different. Green tea, pineapple juice, and fresh mint. It's bright, slightly tropical, and packed with antioxidants.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 green tea bag
  • 300ml boiling water
  • 100ml pineapple juice (pure, not from concentrate)
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves
  • Ice cubes

Method:

  • Steep the green tea bag in the boiling water for 3–4 minutes. Remove the bag.
  • Stir in the pineapple juice. Add the mint leaves.
  • Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold.
  • Serve over ice with extra mint.

Why it's gut-friendly: Green tea is rich in polyphenols. Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion. Mint soothes the digestive tract. A refreshing, gut-friendly drink.
