Lemon & Thyme Warm Water

This is the drink for when you feel a bit under the weather. Thyme is antimicrobial and brilliant for your throat and chest. Lemon is bright and full of vitamin C. It's simple, soothing, and feels medicinal in the best way.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 250ml hot water
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 sprigs of fresh thyme (or a pinch of dried)
- 1 tsp honey
Method:
- Put the thyme in a mug. Pour over the hot water. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Remove the thyme. Stir in the lemon juice and honey.
- Sip slowly.
Why it's gut-friendly: Thyme is antimicrobial and can support gut health by reducing harmful bacteria. Lemon provides vitamin C. Honey is soothing.
