Lemon, Honey & Ginger Warm Water

This is the drink I make when I feel a bit off—tired, achy, or just in need of something gentle. Hot water, fresh lemon, ginger, and honey. It's simple, soothing, and feels medicinal in the best way.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 250ml hot water
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp honey

Method:

  1. Put the ginger in a mug. Pour over the hot water.
  2. Let it steep for 5 minutes.
  3. Strain out the ginger (or leave it in if you like it strong).
  4. Stir in the lemon juice and honey.
  5. Sip slowly.

Why it's gut-friendly: Ginger is a digestive aid. Lemon provides vitamin C. Honey is antimicrobial. A classic, soothing tonic.
