Iced Mint & Cucumber Water

Sometimes you don't need a "drink." You just need water. But fancy water. This is water with cucumber slices and fresh mint. It's incredibly refreshing, properly hydrating, and takes about thirty seconds. Keep a jug in the fridge and you'll actually want to drink water.
Ingredients (Serves 1, or make a jug):
- ¼ cucumber, sliced
- A handful of fresh mint leaves
- Ice cubes
- Cold water
Method:
- Put the cucumber slices and mint leaves in a glass or jug. Muddle gently with the back of a spoon to release the flavours.
- Add ice cubes. Top with cold water.
- Let it sit for 5–10 minutes for the flavours to infuse.
- Drink throughout the day.
Why it's gut-friendly: Cucumber is hydrating and contains anti-inflammatory compounds. Mint soothes the digestive tract. Staying hydrated is essential for gut health.
