Iced Chamomile & Lemon Balm Tea

Iced Chamomile & Lemon Balm Tea

Chamomile and lemon balm are both calming herbs. Steeped together and chilled, they make a refreshing, gently sedative iced tea. Perfect for warm afternoons when you need to take the edge off.

Ingredients (Serves 2):

  • 1 chamomile tea bag
  • 1 lemon balm tea bag (or a handful of fresh lemon balm leaves)
  • 500ml boiling water
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes and lemon slices to serve

Method:

  1. Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for 10 minutes. Remove.
  2. Stir in honey if using. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
  3. Serve over ice with lemon slices.

Why it's gut-friendly: Chamomile is anti-inflammatory and calming. Lemon balm is traditionally used for digestive comfort and anxiety. A soothing, caffeine-free drink.
