Gut-Loving Kefir & Mango Lassi

Kefir is like yoghurt's tangier, more probiotic-packed cousin. Blended with mango and a touch of cardamom, it becomes a proper treat. It's creamy, refreshing, and your gut bacteria will throw a tiny party.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 200ml plain kefir
  • 100g frozen mango chunks
  • ¼ tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • Splash of water to thin if needed

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blitz until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a glass and drink immediately.

Why it's gut-friendly: Kefir is one of the most probiotic-rich foods you can consume. Mango adds fibre and vitamin C. Cardamom aids digestion.
