Ginger & Turmeric Lemonade

Ginger & Turmeric Lemonade

This is lemonade, but make it anti-inflammatory. Fresh lemon juice, grated ginger, a pinch of turmeric, and a little honey, topped up with cold sparkling water. It's bright, zingy, and feels like a proper treat.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • Pinch of turmeric
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • Ice cubes
  • Sparkling water

Method:

  1. In a glass, mix the lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, and honey.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Top up with sparkling water. Stir gently.
  4. Drink immediately.

Why it's gut-friendly: Ginger and turmeric are anti-inflammatory. Lemon provides vitamin C. Sparkling water adds a refreshing fizz without sugar.
