Cucumber & Aloe Vera Cooler

This is the most refreshing drink I know how to make. Cucumber, aloe vera juice, lime, and a touch of honey. Aloe vera is incredibly soothing for the digestive tract. It's like a reset button for your insides.
Ingredients (Serves 1):
- ¼ cucumber, roughly chopped
- 100ml aloe vera juice (the drinkable kind, not the gel)
- Juice of ½ lime
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
- 150ml cold water
- Ice cubes
Method:
- Put the cucumber, aloe vera juice, lime juice, honey, and water in a blender.
- Blitz until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve if you want a clear drink.
- Pour over ice. Drink immediately.
Why it's gut-friendly: Aloe vera is renowned for its soothing, anti-inflammatory effects on the digestive tract. Cucumber is hydrating. Lime adds vitamin C.
