Creamy Cashew & Cinnamon Milkshake

This is not a milkshake in the traditional sense. It's cashews blended with water, cinnamon, and a date until creamy and smooth. It's rich, satisfying, and dairy-free. It feels like a treat but is actually just nuts and fruit.

Ingredients (Serves 1):

  • 30g cashews, soaked in water for at least 2 hours (or overnight)
  • 200ml cold water
  • 1 Medjool date, pitted
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Drain the soaked cashews. Put them in a blender with the water, date, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Blitz on high until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour into a glass. Drink immediately.

Why it's gut-friendly: Cashews provide healthy fats and minerals. Cinnamon helps stabilise blood sugar. Dates add natural sweetness and fibre. A dairy-free, creamy drink.
