Chocolate & Avocado Mousse (Dairy-Free)
Yes, avocado in a dessert. It makes the mousse incredibly silky and you cannot taste it. Just rich, dark chocolate.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Method:
- Blitz everything in a food processor until completely smooth.
- Chill for at least an hour.
Why it's gut-friendly: Avocado provides healthy fats and fibre. Cocoa is a prebiotic polyphenol powerhouse. No dairy.
