Peanut Butter & Banana Oat Bars (No-Bake, 5 Ingredients)

These are the bars you make when you can't face cooking. They set in the fridge and are perfect for breakfast or a snack. Oats, peanut butter, banana, honey, and a handful of dark chocolate chips.

Ingredients (Makes 8 bars):

  • 150g rolled oats
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 3 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 30g dark chocolate chips

Method:

  1. Mix everything together. Press firmly into a lined tin.
  2. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Slice into bars.

Why it's gut-friendly: Oats provide beta-glucan for gut health. Bananas add potassium. Peanut butter is rich in protein and healthy fats. Dark chocolate provides prebiotic polyphenols.
