Honey & Soy Glazed Chicken Thighs

A three-ingredient marinade that transforms chicken thighs into something sticky, savoury, and deeply satisfying. The honey caramelises in the oven, the soy adds depth, and the garlic ties it together.
Ingredients (Serves 2):
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Mix the honey, tamari, and garlic.
- Place the chicken in a baking dish. Pour the glaze over.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, basting halfway, until sticky and cooked through.
Why it's gut-friendly: Chicken is a lean, easily digestible protein. Honey is antimicrobial. Tamari is fermented. A very simple, satisfying dinner.
